        Before you lace up

        Do I need to be a runner?

        No. Walk, jog or run at your own pace. The 3 km is perfect if it's your first time, and nobody gets left behind.

        How much does it cost?

        R50 per person, paid at the gate when you arrive.

        Why RSVP if I pay at the gate?

        Your RSVP tells us how many people to plan for, so there's enough coffee, water and space for everyone.

        Where is it?

        That's the fun part. A new clue unlocks on this page and on our Facebook and Instagram every day from Friday 16 October. Lock in your guess, and find out on Tuesday 20 October.

        Can I bring my kids or my dog?

        Yes. Kids must stay with an adult, and dogs must be on a leash.

        How do I not get lost?

        Follow the orange route boards and the marshals in bibs. The route will also be on Strava before the day.

        How do I get my song on the playlist?

        Suggest it in the playlist section or with your RSVP. Once it's on the list, get your friends to vote for it. DJ Storm plays the top picks.

        How does the Bring-a-friend contest work?

        When you RSVP you get your own invite link. Every friend who RSVPs through it counts for you. The people who bring the most friends win Social Stride T-shirts.
